Used Clothes Initiative

Used Clothes Initiative

The Islamic Department at Lycée Français Jean Mermoz, in cooperation with Bait Al Khair Society, successfully organised the Used Clothes Initiative across the North and South campuses.

The initiative aimed to encourage students and families to support the wider community through acts of generosity, kindness, and social responsibility. Families were invited to donate clean and gently used clothes, shoes, toys, and books, giving these items a new purpose while helping those in need.

The initiative also provided students with a meaningful opportunity to take part in charitable work and understand the importance of compassion, solidarity, and positive contribution to society.

Thanks to the generous participation of LFJM families and the dedication of the Islamic Department teams in both campuses, the initiative achieved excellent results, with almost 150 bags collected.

This successful project reflects the strong spirit of giving within the LFJM community and highlights the positive impact that can be achieved when students, families, staff, and charitable organisations work together for a meaningful cause.
