IELTS at Lycée Français Jean Mermoz: Opening Doors to Global Opportunities

At the Lycée Français Jean Mermoz, we are proud to support our students in their pursuit of international excellence. This year, several of our high school students are taking the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) a key qualification recognized by universities and employers around the world.

To make this milestone more accessible, LFJM is offering our students the opportunity to take the test directly on campus in a familiar and supportive environment. In addition, dedicated preparation sessions led by our English teachers help students strengthen their skills and build confidence ahead of the exam.

The IELTS exam assesses English proficiency in listening, reading, writing, and speaking, and is often required for admission to English-speaking universities, including those in the UK, Canada, Australia, and the United States. It is also widely valued for international mobility and professional pathways.

By organizing the IELTS on site, we aim to simplify the process for our students, reduce logistical constraints, and create the best possible conditions for success. Our English department and teaching teams have been working closely with the testing organization to ensure everything runs smoothly from registration to test day.
